As we reach the midpoint of 2026, I would like to take a moment to reflect on what has already been a busy and rewarding year for Orana Gardens and to thank our residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners for their ongoing support.
At Orana Gardens, our purpose remains simple: to provide exceptional care, meaningful lifestyle opportunities, and a welcoming community where people can live with dignity, respect, and independence. As a not-for-profit organisation serving Dubbo and the wider Central West, we are proud to continue building on our long-standing commitment to quality aged care and retirement living.
One of the greatest strengths of Orana Gardens is our people.
This year, we have celebrated team members who have dedicated many years of service to our organisation. Their commitment, compassion, and professionalism help shape the culture of care that residents and families experience every day. Whether providing direct care, maintaining our facilities, supporting administration, or coordinating services behind the scenes, every member of our team plays an important role in delivering quality outcomes. To all of our staff, thank you for the difference you make each day.
The aged care sector continues to evolve, with new expectations, strengthened standards, and ongoing reforms designed to improve outcomes for older Australians. As an organisation, we welcome these opportunities to strengthen our services and continuously improve the resident experience.
We remain focused on:
Delivering safe, high-quality care.
Investing in staff development and leadership.
Enhancing our facilities and services.
Strengthening clinical governance and compliance.
Listening to residents and families to guide improvement.
Continuous improvement is not simply a regulatory requirement—it is part of our commitment to excellence.
Demand for quality aged care and retirement living continues to grow across regional Australia. As we look ahead, we remain focused on ensuring Orana Gardens is well positioned to meet the needs of current and future residents.
Our vision is to provide a community where older Australians can age with confidence, knowing they are supported by caring professionals, modern facilities, and a community that genuinely cares about their wellbeing.
On behalf of the Board and leadership team, thank you for being part of the Orana Gardens family. We look forward to continuing this journey together and making the second half of 2026 another successful chapter in our story. Keep a look out for our Retirement Village Open Day in Spring!
