As we move into 2026, Orana Gardens remains firmly committed to delivering safe, respectful, and high-quality care for our residents. Our strategic focus is guided by the Aged Care Quality Standards, strong governance, and a culture of accountability and compassion.

 

Our residents, families, and staff can be assured that Orana Gardens is continuing to strengthen the systems, behaviours, and practices that support dignity, wellbeing, and trust.

  

Consumer Dignity & Choice

 

We continue to place residents at the centre of care decisions, supporting individual preferences, independence, and meaningful engagement in daily life.

 

Ongoing Assessment & Care Planning

 

Care delivery in 2026 will remain focused on timely assessment, clear documentation, and responsive care planning that reflects residents’ changing needs.

 

Workforce Capability & Culture

 

A respectful, skilled, and accountable workforce is essential. Our priorities include:


  • Clear communication expectations 

  • Professional conduct and teamwork 

  • Ongoing education and leadership development 

  • Employee engagement 

  • Sponsorship of our valued employees

 

Everyday Living Services & Fees

 

In April, Higher Everyday Living Fees (HELF) will be available. These changes reflect the increasing costs associated with delivering quality services and maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-resourced environments for residents.

 

Orana Gardens remains committed to: 


  • Transparency in how fees are applied 

  • Ensuring services funded through HELF directly support residents’ daily living, comfort, and wellbeing

 

Ongoing communication with residents and families regarding services and value

 

Governance, Risk & Safety

 

Orana Gardens is strengthening governance frameworks to ensure:

 

  • Effective risk management 

  • Privacy and information security 

  • Compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
