Orana Gardens partners with Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre to provide Respite Care within the facility. There are four allocated Respite rooms within the home – catering to all types of care needs. To access Respite Care you will need to ensure that you or your loved one has a current Aged Care Client Record with approval for Respite Care.
How can I make a Booking?
Contact the local Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre to arrange a Respite stay with Orana Gardens. The local office phone is 1800 052 222. The Centre manages all respite bookings for Orana Gardens. They also aim to contribute to the support and maintenance of caring relationships by facilitating access to information, respite care and other support appropriate to carers’ needs and circumstances, and the needs of the people they care for.
The Centre can provide information on:
- Respite and carer support services vacancies within the home
- Your eligibility to receive services
- Whether there are any costs associated with receiving the services
- Offer assistance in planning your future respite and other carer support needs.
