Management Staff

Clint Grose

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Clint joined Orana Gardens in February 2021 as the CEO.

Clint Grose served for over 20 years as a full time member of the Australian Army. Clint has a passion for leadership, this stems from his diverse experiences in the military and his senior management roles in NSW Health. Clint holds appointments as a director on two boards, and has degrees in Nursing, leadership and an MBA majoring in business consultancy, marketing and human resource management.

This coupled with his prior expertise in frontline Emergency nursing/paramedical has afforded him the ability to utilise these skills as a proficiency in transformational leadership and development of positive cultures in the organisations he represents. Clint is passionate about the health of our community and brings a wealth of knowledge to Orana Gardens Ltd.

Andrew McKay

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Andrew joined the team at Orana Gardens in April 2020 as the CFO. Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

With a Chemical Engineering degree, a Masters of Commerce and MBA, Andrew brings experience in financial control, statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting to the Board.

Andrew is a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk committee. Outside work Andrew enjoys bike riding, kayaking, involvement in Rotary and fundraising for worthwhile causes.

Sue Trudgett

ESTATE MANAGER - ORANA GARDENS ESTATE

Sue joined Orana Gardens in June 2008 moving into her position as Retirement Village Manager.

Sue has a background in Secretarial, Administration, Legal, PA & Payroll.

Jennifer Ferguson

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO

Jennifer joined the team at Orana Gardens in March 2017.

Jennifer is an asset to the organisation as a whole as well as to the CEO and Board of Directors.

She brings strong knowledge and expertise in Administration.

Jennifer completed her Diploma in Business Administration in 2020 whilst working in the role of Executive Assistant and is an asset to the team.

Tim Sykes

FACILITY MANAGER

Tim joined Orana Gardens in May 2021 as the Facility Manager with vast experience in Human Resources & disability services.

Over the past 14 years Tim has gained experience across a diverse cross-section of social-based programs including disability, disadvantaged youth, homelessness and alcohol and other drugs.

His career in community services began when he was 20, working as a support worker.

Tim spent the last 8 years working for Westhaven Ltd, most recently in the Director of Human Resources and Engagement role, but prior to that managing the operations for people with a disability living in the community.

Tim has a passion for ensuring the community’s most vulnerable are not only provided the best service possible, but that this care is provided in a personalised way that enables choice and dignity for those being supported.

Rasmey Som

CLINICAL CARE MANAGER

Rasmey joined the Orana Gardens team in August 2021 as the Clinical Care Manager.

Rasmey graduated with a nursing degree in 2011 from University of Notre Dame in Sydney.

She completed her new graduated year at St Vincent’s Private before moving into aged care.

Additionally, Rasmey completed a diploma In leadership and management and has solely managed a beautiful dementia unit in the past 4.5 years.

In her 9 years as an aged care nurse and Rasmey has have never looked back as she made positive impacts in people’s lives and their families throughout the years.

Rasmey loves caring for the elderly, helping improving their cares and advocating for them.

Rasmey is compassionate, motivated and optimistic about the future of Orana Gardens.

Ray Hewett

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Ray joined the team in August 2005 and is the Maintenance Supervisor for Orana Gardens.

Ray ensures all maintenance requests for the care facility and retirement living units are completed working alongside contractors and tradesman on a daily basis.

Ray brings a wealth of knowledge in his position with the organisation.

Sarah Hutchison

ADMISSION & ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

Sarah joined Orana Gardens in 2021 in the ‘Admissions and Engagement Coordinator role’. Sarah stated "I’m so thankful for this opportunity for many reasons, but mostly because every staff member is approachable and caring".

Sarah has a huge passion for studying and enhancing her knowledge within this field, Sarah is now currently enrolled with CSU studying her Masters of Ageing and Health (gerontology).

Sarah's career goals she would like to achieve are: to become a Board Director at an aged care facility: to become a Facility Manager one day: and to do some teaching at CSU if possible: to be involved in policy advocacy and research groups.

Cherie Higgs

SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER

Cherie joined the team in June 1998.

Cherie is the Support Services Manager at Orana Gardens and ensures the smooth running of the kitchen, cleaning and laundry.

Cherie is dedicated to the residents of Orana Gardens and the care they receive.
